You’ll need a few things to make this tiger mask: a template, some card, scissors, sticky tape and LOTS of patience!
My son loves tigers, he always has done. The first thing he ever bought himself when he spent his own birthday money was a huge furry tiger (it’s still almost as big as him now, and he’s 9!).
So, why not make a tiger mask? Sounds like a good family activity to do together, and after all how hard can it be? 😉
We made it a while ago, and he wore it all Hallowe’en long. It’s now in pride of place on his bedroom shelves and looks great as an ornament too.
I downloaded this template from Etsy, and to be fair I probably underestimated how many different bits of card need to be fitted together to make it. My advice would be to just take a deep breath, take your time and you’ll get there!

So, here are some pictures from the making of the mask. It took quite some time, but was well worth it!
As I said, there were a lot of pieces of cardboard to cut-out, score and fold! Oh, and you’ll need lots of sellotape too!
The finished mask before painting. We did think about leaving it white, as it looked great like this too!
Starting the painting!
And the finished result:
